This super smooth, slow rising sensory ball is a great calming tool, with a soft smooth feeling it is a satisfying tool, perfect for the classroom.
How to use this tool in an intervention: Use each ball to represent a different emotion. For example:
Blue- Sadness
Orange- Happiness
Green- Fear/worry
Pink/red- Anger
Then ask the children in your group to select a ball depending on their feeling and during the session you can each talk about a time you have felt this emotion, or if they don't have an example you can talk about ways you could support someone who was feeling this emotion. This creates a safe space where children can explore their emotions and talk freely about their experiences as well as offering advice to each other guided by an adult which can create an open environment where children are able to discuss emotions, reducing the stigma.

This is rated by us as a quiet sensory tool as it makes no sound when squeezing the sensory ball, brilliant for use in the classroom and for various intervention sessions including ELSA sessions.
